RACE TIME LIMIT: The Zoo has strict guidelines that the race must be finished by 9am.
WATER STATIONS: There will be 1 water station on the 5K course and since it is an out and back course you will have 2 opportunities for water. We just ask that you line up in the back of the racers for your safety and for the safety of those around you. STROLLERS: Strollers are welcome in the events.
You may request your plaque by emailing by midnight on Sunday, May 22nd. Please check the official results to see if you have placed in the top 3 of the following divisions: 15 & Under, 16-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Custom plaques will be available to the top 3 winners in each division/gender upon request. PARKING: FREE parking is available at the Zoo on race morning.ĪWARDS: All finishers will receive a custom finisher medal. RACE ADDRESS: For your GPS, the address of the Zoo is 4850 W Powell Rd, Powell Ohio. Zoo members only need to show their credentials at the gate.
COLUMBUS ZOO MAP REGISTRATION
Discounted tickets will be for sale at registration prior to the race to all non participants. NOTE: Everyone entering the zoo is required to have a ticket including all non participants. If you are not a participant in either event feel free to roam the zoo following the 5K run. Following the kids run the 5K will start (also at the Tiger Shelter) at 8:00am. ** Those who have kids in the Frog Jog should go immediately to the Tiger Shelter (follow the signs) for the 7:30am start. WHERE TO GO AFTER YOU GET YOUR ENTRANCE BRACELET Current zoo members should show their membership cards. Please take your ticket( attach the wrist band) to the main entrance and go immediately through the turn-stiles. RACE DAY LOGISTICS: All participants will be issued a ticket and wrist band to the zoo. RACE START TIMES: Kids Frog Jog 7:30am - Safari 5K: 8:00am
PACKET PICK-UP: Packet pick-up on race morning only starting at 6:45am just in front of the main entrance to the ZOO!
